Education PR for training providers and course businesses

Anyone can build a course and a landing page. What decides whether a buyer picks yours is whether your name turns up somewhere they already trust. We get education businesses cited as the source of research in the national and trade press.

Why Buyers Check You Out Before They Enquire

The client we did this for asked us outright what PR would do for the business at all. It is a fair question, and it has four answers.

The Purchase Is a Risk to Somebody’s Job

A care home manager buying mandatory training, or an HR lead commissioning a course, is signing off something they will be asked about later. They look you up first, and what comes back decides whether the enquiry ever happens.

Nobody Wants to Be Sold to, Everybody Reads the News

Being quoted in a story about your own sector does the work a brochure cannot. It is not you claiming the expertise, it is a journalist treating you as the person who has it.

AI Answers Are the New Shortlist

Search engines and AI tools lean on brands that trusted publications mention, so being named as the source of a piece of research pays twice. We wrote content aimed at Google’s AI Overviews alongside the press work for exactly that reason.

One Piece of Work Keeps Working

Coverage does not stop when the campaign does. After Caredemy’s research ran, the editor of Care Talk came back and wrote a longer feature of their own.

What We Do When the Owner Has No Time

Caredemy is a lean operation with a time-poor owner who could not always be the named voice. The programme was built around that rather than in spite of it.

We Write the Research

Caredemy’s analysis of care sector closures came out of Companies House records. We pulled the data, checked it and wrote it up. The client’s involvement was reading it and saying yes.

We Ghost-Write the Expert Comment

Drafted in the client’s voice, sent for approval, then out. All the owner had to do was approve and hit send.

We Find a Spokesperson When You Cannot Be One

A Telegraph journalist wanted to interview a care home provider. Caredemy could not be that voice, so we sourced one from the client’s wider network, made the introduction and managed the interview and the approvals end to end.

We Cover the Gaps a Journalist Opens Up

Asked for enquiry and supply figures the client did not hold, we offered on-message qualitative comment instead, which the journalist was happy to take.

We Write for the Answer Engines as Well as the Newsdesk

Alongside the press work, content built specifically to surface in Google’s AI Overviews, because that is increasingly where a buyer’s first question gets answered. More on that on our AI SEO page.

Three Audiences, One Piece of Research

Coverage in this sector has to reach three different rooms, and the same set of numbers can do all three if it is pitched three ways.

National Press

The Telegraph covered Caredemy’s Companies House analysis of care sector closures, with a supporting case study and expert comment crediting Caredemy as the source of the research. Yahoo News, AOL and PressReader followed it.

The Trade Your Buyers Actually Read

McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, Care Home Professional, Home Care Insight and Social Care Today, plus a follow-up in-depth feature from the editor of Care Talk.

The People Who Commission the Training

Employee Benefits News, The HR Director, HR News and Recruiter Magazine. The HR and recruitment press reaches the budget holder rather than the end learner.

What It Returned for Caredemy

Caredemy is a London-based provider of low-cost, CPD-certified online health and social care training, including the Care Certificate and mandatory training for individuals, care homes and GP practices. Across 2025 and 2026 the programme earned around 24 pieces of coverage at an average Domain Authority of about 59, headlined by The Telegraph.

Where Our Education Coverage Has Landed

Every title here has carried research we produced for an education client. Three groups on purpose: national titles for credibility anyone can check, the sector trade for the practitioners, and the HR press for the people holding the budget.

How the Programme Runs

Five steps a month, four of which are ours.

1

Find the Question Your Sector Is Arguing About

For a care training provider that was workforce shortages and provider closures, because the trade press and the nationals were both writing about them.

2

Go to the Public Record for the Answer

Companies House, published sector data, whatever holds the number nobody has counted yet. A cited, checkable source is what makes an editor comfortable running it.

3

Write Everything, Including the Quotes

The analysis, the release and the expert comment in your voice, so your only job is to approve it or tell us what to change.

4

Pitch It Three Ways

The same research offered to the nationals, the sector trade and the HR press, because each will take a different angle on the same numbers.

5

Report What Landed

Every placement with its publication and its authority score, so there is a number against the retainer each month.

You approve, we do the rest. These are the people whose drafts you will be approving.

FAQ

Needle-felted Avid Panda mascot beside a press release, where a pitch email becomes a published article and a link
We are a training provider, not a school. Is this page for us?

Yes, and deliberately so. The work we can show is for a training and course business: Caredemy sells online health and social care training to individuals, care homes and GP practices. If you sell courses, qualifications or CPD, the approach transfers directly.

Our owner cannot be quoted on the record. Does that stop it?

No. Caredemy could not always be the named voice either. We ghost-write comment for approval, and when a journalist needs a live interviewee we go and find an appropriate one, as we did for The Telegraph.

How much of our time does this take?

Approvals, mostly. The research, the drafting and the pitching are ours. That was the explicit condition of the Caredemy programme and it is how it ran.

Does coverage help us show up in AI answers?

It is a large part of why we do it. Search engines and AI tools favour brands that trusted publications mention, so being cited as the source of a piece of research works twice over. We write content aimed at AI Overviews alongside the press work.

Which matters more, a national or a trade title?

They do different jobs. The Telegraph placement gave Caredemy credibility anyone can check in ten seconds. McKnight’s and Care Home Professional reached the practitioners, and the HR titles reached the people who commission training. We aim for all three out of one piece of research.

How does the commercial side work?

A monthly retainer against an agreed programme, with a report each month showing every placement and its authority score.

Ready When You Are.

One call. A person answers. The plan is yours either way.
